POTATO AND SMOKED HADDOCK CHOWDER

INGREDIENTS :-

3 or 4 potatoes cut into even sized cubes

1 chopped onion

1 stock cube

salt and pepper

110 g (4 oz) green beans, or runner beans, or peas

1 piece smoke haddock cut into even sized chunks

chopped parsley or chives

METHOD :-

Add the potato cubes and chopped onion to a saucepan or wok.

Cover with water and simmer until just soft.

Add a stock cube, and salt and pepper to taste.

Add the green vegetables and haddock chunks.

Simmer until the haddock is just soft.

Taste and adjust flavour, before serving garnished with parsley or chives.
