INGREDIENTS :-
leftover pieces of cooked Christmas meats
leftover stuffing, bacon, sausages, and vegetables
leftover gravy or any of the accompanying sauces e.g. cranberry, bread, and apple
1 packet ready-made puff or shortcrust pastry
1 tablespoon milk
METHOD :-
Place all the leftovers in an ovenproof dish.
Roll out the ready-made pastry to cover the dish.
Place the pastry over the filling, making sure that it is all enclosed.
Brush the pastry with milk and bake at Gas Mark 6 / 400°F / 200°C (180°C for fan oven) for 35 - 40 minutes until golden brown and firm to touch.
Serve with a cooked green vegetable such as cabbage, peas, beans, or sprouts.
