CHICKEN WITH NOODLES

INGREDIENTS to serve 1 person :-

110 g (4 oz) boneless chicken or turkey steak

110 g (4 oz) frozen mixed vegetables or ready prepared stir fried vegetables or your favourite vegetables

2 tablespoons brown sauce or tomato sauce or favourite soup or baked beans in tomato sauce

150 g (5 oz) packet straight to wok noodles or rice noodles

1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)

METHOD :-

Cut the poultry into thin strips.

In a large bowl, add the chosen vegetables and sauce flavouring, then mix well.

If using rice noodles, then place them in a large mixing bowl, cover with boiling water, leave for 3 minutes, and then drain. (These are then ready to use or eat!)

Mix the straight to wok noodles, or the drained rice noodles, with the saucy vegetables, chicken strips, and soy sauce.

Place in a suitable covered dish and microwave on high for 5 - 6 minutes.
