CHICKEN & BEANS

INGREDIENTS to serve 4 people :-

Marinade :-

1 tablespoon

black treacle

1 tablespoon

white wine vinegar

1 tablespoon

dark brown sugar

1 tablespoon

tomato puree

1 teaspoon

Dijon mustard

chicken thighs

400 g

14 oz

can of baked beans

METHOD :-

Mix the marinade ingredients together until smooth.

Place the chicken thighs in a shallow roasting tin.

Brush half the marinade over the chicken thighs until completely covered.

Roast at Gas mark 5 / 375oF. / 190oC. for 25 - 35 minutes until cooked.

Halfway through roasting coat the chicken with the remaining marinade.

About 5 minutes before the end of roasting open the baked beans and add to the chicken.

Stir in well and cook until the beans are bubbly.
