PORK & APPLE BURGERS

INGREDIENTS to serve 4 people :-

500 g

1 lb

minced pork

1

eating apple

100 g

4 oz

onion

75 g

3 oz

breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon

dried sage

salt & pepper to taste

flour as required

METHOD :-

Core and roughly grate the apple. Finely chop or roughly grate the onion.

Add all the ingredients except the flour to a large mixing bowl and thoroughly combine.

Divide the mixture into 4 even sized portions.

Using floured hands mould each portion into a burger shape.

Chill for at least 1 hour.

Either grill or fry the burgers when required for about 8 - 10 minutes each side until they are brown and sizzling.
